Nordis Direct Expands Westward, Adding a New Production Facility in Las Vegas

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Dec. 17, 2014  — Nordis Direct has announced expansion plans with the addition of a new production facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This new location will help Nordis meet the demands of its rapidly growing business, give the company direct control over its disaster recovery plan, and ultimately, provide a more expedited, cost-effective West coast mail service to its customers.

The new 16,000-square-foot facility will be located near the McCarran International Airport, just miles from the Vegas strip. Its doors are set to open in January 2015.

The expansion into Las Vegas means the company will have complete control over its disaster recovery plan — a necessity for businesses operating in South Florida. Once the new location is open for business, files can be re-routed to its production facility at any time, eliminating the need for assistance from outside vendors.

In terms of data security and quality control, Nordis Direct plans to replicate what it’s been able to do in its Coral Springs operation. The new facility will be HIPAA- and SSAE 16- compliant and the production quality will meet the same high standards — whether files are printed and mailed in Coral Springs or Las Vegas.

The new location is also closely aligned with the company’s overall strategic vision. “Ultimately, we want to produce our West Coast mail from that facility,” said President/CEO Ronnie Selinger. “Vegas will make West Coast mailings faster and more economical for our customers.”

The new facility also has the potential to open new doors for Expresso, the company’s signature platform for communications management. “I think Expresso would be fantastic for the gaming industry,” explains Selinger. “So having a local presence in town will be important from that perspective as well.”
