You might not think a half inch would matter that much, but when it comes to uploading PDFs as part of a package, it can stop a job in its tracks.
That’s because Nordis requires a minimum 0.5-inch left-side clearance margin. Nordis uses this area for quality control by applying specialized barcodes that link each printed sheet to its corresponding mailing record. When border lines or text extend into the left margin or clients add their own barcodes in that space, Nordis equipment cannot read the company’s barcodes during envelope inserting.
