FierceHealthcare's awards identify and showcase outstanding innovation that’s driving improvements and transforming the industry. Nordis was selected a finalist in the Financial/Operational Solutions category for demonstrating innovative solutions that have the greatest potential to save money, engage patients, or revolutionize the industry.
Finalists were selected by a panel of industry experts, including executives from Aetna, JFK Health System, and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
This important industry program underscores that innovation is the life force of healthcare. That’s certainly true for medical care and, increasingly, for non-clinical operations.
We are focused on helping healthcare revenue cycle management firms improve patient billing communications and payments. We do so in two ways:
- Enhancing operational efficiency and productivity by streamlining and automating the process from creating to distributing patient statements, letters and other communications.
- Giving them new ways to support their provider clients in financially engaging their patients. Our easy-to-use cloud-based solutions for customer communications management (CCM) and electronic bill presentment and payments (EBPP) gives them the power and flexibility to offer more patient choice, convenience and customization.
With patients shouldering more of their health costs, the revenue cycle holds a critical key to patient satisfaction and loyalty. Younger patients aged 27 to 39, in particular, say their revenue cycle interactions strongly influence their overall patient experience, according to a recent Connance survey. It found more than 40% in that age group say their interactions “significantly changed” their willingness to recommend the provider to a friend.
We are delighted to be recognized as a patient communications innovator. We are even more delighted that our technology-based solutions and services help our revenue cycle management partners deliver exceptional value to their provider clients.
